Synopsis: "Snowflakes are falling on Kissing Bridge Mountain and Devlin is coming home at last. But he can't go home without a fiance' - even if it has to be a fake one! When he meets Allie who has a Christmas crisis of her own, they agree to strike up a deal. What could possibly go wrong - or on Kissing Bridge, possibly go beautifully right...?"

My Thoughts: I started laughing the time I began reading this book because I already loved Allie and her spunkiness. You see the story opens with her trying to remove a for sale sign from her family's front lawn that she thought was a prank and she was so angry over it and ended up falling on her butt in the snow. So I couldn't help myself! It was funny! What a way to dive into a story....

Sadly though it was no prank. Her father needed to place the house up for sale to save the family business. This is killing Allie inside because that is her childhood home and place where she has so many memories of her mother who had passed away. She decides she will come up with a way to come up with the money her father needs and keep the family home as well but boy she surprised even herself at the lengths she was willing to go to, to achieve her goal!

This was a good clean and fun romance. It has practically everything...humor, drama, and great variety of characters. I loved that it was set around the holidays with all the snow. Just the type of story I love reading as our own holidays are approaching.

My first book from Linda West but I plan on checking into more of her stories!
