Review - This Side of Tomorrow by Sally White
Synopsis: Life isn’t fair…and neither is death.
When seventeen-year-old Nebraskan, Rachel Sutton moves into her new home in Maine, she quickly discovers it is the former residence of Noah and Ethan Thompson, teenage brothers recently killed in car crash. Brothers who have yet to move on.
Ethan, spiteful and jealous, is obsessed with Rachel, and Noah, guilt-ridden and gorgeous, is trying to save his brother’s soul. As Rachel spends countless hours with Noah, and dates Parker Redding, a popular football player, she finds herself torn between her feelings for the living and the dead.
One fateful night, Rachel must choose. Will she embrace her life on earth with those who love her? Or find out what’s on the other side?
My Thoughts: When Rachel's family moves into a new house complete with the ghosts of two brothers who had died the previous year she finds out they went to her new high school and were jocks and she ends up dating one of their friends Parker. One of the ghost brothers, Ethan forms an infatuation of Rachel and ends up attacking her while his brother who is trying to convince him to cross over with him has to protect her from him thus they end up spending lots of time together and she develops feelings for him that are as strong if not stronger than the ones she has for Parker.
I Loved it! The whole love triangle especially when one love is a ghost really worked for me. I was totally anxious to see how it all played out. I found myself having no problems empathizing with all of the characters even the mean Ethan once things began unfolding. There near the end I was on the edge not knowing which way Rachel would go.
