Book Water Spout

Found this article via a newsletter (Schaffner) and wanted to share. I found it bewildering..maybe a bit disturbing? I read this was like 5000 books joined together via tubing and mesh wire to resemble the image of a water spout shooting thru a window. Had it been anything other than books (magazines or newspapers perhaps) used I may have been awed but instead I just can't imagine using books like that not even for the sake of art.
