Kirby Puckernut is Santa's cleverest little elf. While dreaming up marvelous toys for good girls and boys, Kirby has his best idea yet - a real elf in every home, all through the holidays, spreading Christmas Magic! Santa finds the perfect family and allows Kirby to serve as the test elf for the first momentous visit. Fun and adventure are at every turn, but not everything goes as planned...
I loved the story and the pages are so beautifully illustrated! This will be a nice addition to any child's library! I think I enjoyed it alot because it was the story of a family I could relate to with real like children and not the so fabulous ones you normally read about that make you think that that is soooo not a real person or family. The two smaller children you could easily see they still held Christmas magic in their little hearts and minds whereas the to big for her britches older pre-teen sister had all but turned into a Scrooge but then it is the holiday season and more "magic" happens this time of year than most any other time so maybe just maybe they'll be hope for this family yet!
